Chatter® - Battery driven monitoring unit for water borings, storm flow, etc.

MJK has developed a brand new battery driven level monitoring unit for water supply boreholes, recording of storm flow events, ground water monitoring at large construction sites (i.e. buildings, tunnels) and many other applications.



Chatter®

Chatter® uses a hydrostatic level transmitter. 30.000 time stamped measurements are stored in the on board data logger, and the GSM / GPRS modem sends the measurements home to the SCADA system.

Especially interesting is that the Chatter® offers 2 different transmission methods. One is direct data transmission through the GPRS network where measurements are delivered in a SQL database on a server.

The Chatter® is battery powered and uses digital- and miniature electronics to provide 5-year battery life while sending daily calls with data.
